So did X stump a lot of you then? There were a few names missing!

We're nearly at the end of the alphabet challenge - keep your eyes posted for the new type of challenge we will be doing the week after. I'm wondering whether to have a break over the summer or continue - what do you all think?

Well we're up to the tricky X - mine is for X-ray - no surprise there then! I used a Stampin Up stamp for the skeleton.

We're up to W

No sampler today as I've dragged myself out of a sick bed to post our W for this week - I've come down with a rotten chest infection but must soldier on for the blog's sake! LOL!!!


Here's my W - for Water - I'm sure the letter W didn't pose too many problems - which is more than can be said for next week's letter!

My V is for Victoriana. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've all come up with - wow its getting tricky at this end of the alphabet.

So then - as we're nearly at the end - do you want me to continue with the inchy blog - I do have an idea of what we can do next - which will be slightly different to the other inchy challenge blog that Doreen runs and hopefully slightly different to all the other challenges out there - the inspiration for the new challenge came from all your lovely inchies that you've done for this alphabet challenge - a small prize for whoever can guess what we'll be doing next! T IS FOR......

My T this week is for Tower - the Eiffel Tower in fact - its 24 years since I was last in Paris - when hubby took me for a suprise weekend for our 1st Wedding Anniversary - methinks its time we went back! Although we can't go this year Girls as we're off to Greece instead - another favourite place of ours and we haven't been there for such a long time - but can you believe the kids want to come with us! My "kids" are 19 and 16 so not babies -but they want to be part of our Anniversary trip too - so I think a weekend away on our own isn't out of the question......

My main computer crashed on me last week and I'm having to use the laptop.

The good thing is its allowed me to do samplers again - which my old computer wouldn't - how strange. I've not liked having a sampler because I must admit I always like to join in with challenges that produce them - just in case i get picked........

Let's get back to inchies and here's my P - not very inspirational I'm afraid - I've chosen a penguin - as the weather has been so hot he's helped cool me down! lol!

SORRY.....

No new challenge for a while - my darling mum died on Friday 7th May, 2 days after my birthday. I've also just had to have my cat put down - he was 17 and we've just had to buy him in the garden today. Normal inchy business will resume in two weeks.

O!

We're on O today - sorry I'm a bit late with this - its a bit stressful in our household at the moment with my mum.

It took me ages to think of something for the letter O - I was very nearly going to resort to French and do a oiseau - and then right at the last minute I thought of Opera - duh - and me an opera singer! lol!

So here's my inchy - good luck with your O's!

LETTER 'N'

Wow I found this letter hard - my N is for November and apparently the Chrysanthemum is the flower for this month - although I'm not a lover of Chrysanths. November is also my mum's birthday mum - thanks for all your good wishes - she is still very poorly in hospital.

LETTER 'M'

My letter M is M for Mother - my mum is still seriously ill in hospital and she was the first thing that came to mind when I thought of M. This is a picture of her when she was about 6 - 80 years ago.
