I'M BACK WITH A 'P'

Thank you for all your comments of support during this difficult time.

Let's get back to inchies and here's my P - not very inspirational I'm afraid - I've chosen a penguin - as the weather has been so hot he's helped cool me down! lol!

SORRY.....

No new challenge for a while - my darling mum died on Friday 7th May, 2 days after my birthday. I've also just had to have my cat put down - he was 17 and we've just had to buy him in the garden today. Normal inchy business will resume in two weeks.

O!

We're on O today - sorry I'm a bit late with this - its a bit stressful in our household at the moment with my mum.

It took me ages to think of something for the letter O - I was very nearly going to resort to French and do a oiseau - and then right at the last minute I thought of Opera - duh - and me an opera singer! lol!

So here's my inchy - good luck with your O's!

LETTER 'N'

Wow I found this letter hard - my N is for November and apparently the Chrysanthemum is the flower for this month - although I'm not a lover of Chrysanths. November is also my mum's birthday mum - thanks for all your good wishes - she is still very poorly in hospital.

LETTER 'M'

My letter M is M for Mother - my mum is still seriously ill in hospital and she was the first thing that came to mind when I thought of M. This is a picture of her when she was about 6 - 80 years ago.

WE'RE ON D

My D this week is Daffodil - its very spring like here in Hampshire this morning - the sun is shining and the daffodils in my garden are up and just ready to sprout some flowers. Make the most of the bright days before the rain comes again.

Sorry I'm a bit late with this week's challenge - real life got in the way.

Your challenge this week is YULE - anything you like as long as its YULE related (for those not sure what Yule is - its the original winter festival which was celebrated thousands of years before christianity. It was the celebration of light in the depths of winter so think candles, fairy lights, - it was the celebration of evergreen to show life continued so think fir trees, holly, mistletoe.
